Club cars at Attingham Park

The Stafford MG Enthusiasts Club was formed in August 2001. This makes it one of the newer MG clubs in the UK. The club has been set up by MG enthusiasts who are not only interested in their cars but are keen to organise a varied programme of social and motoring events that are of interest to the whole family, and not just car fanatics. SMGEC has Area Club status in the Midlands Region of the MG Owners Club and is affiliated to the MG Car Club.

Please take a minute to look at the programme of Meetings & Events.

At the AGM in January 2002 the club formally elected its first Committee to guide the club through the next year. Several of the initial steering committee were elected plus new members from the club, and since then the club has gone from strength to strength. We now have around 50 families as members, between us running over 100 cars including at least 5 generations of sports cars and three generations of saloons. Just about everything from T to Z (A and B coming somewhere in the middle of the numbering sequence: just one of the curiosities of the MG marque)

The club meets on the first Thursday of each month at The Barns, Huntington, at 7.30pm.
